in vb code, brackets are to signify italic, bold, quotations, underline, etc etc. If brackets are shown in thread preview, it will look messy... like this:

Yeap. It's not a tool. It's a bug or exploit as I originally stated.

i think it would be possible to disable a preview bypass tho. you'd have to make a hack that adds on to the preview mod. i dunno much about vb hacks tho, but i know a lil about phpbb hacks
