springs vs. coil overs
Coilovers, adjustability, daily driven, can raise up in winter time, Why = Kuz I got it for low price, Tokico Full Coilovers. Handle perfectly. Even drops, I've seen many springs where there are more than .5" differences.
in my case:
Koni Yellows w/ the best springs vs. TEIN SS Coilovers
The TEIN SS coilovers are good, but they will never handle better than a good Koni Yellow and spring setup. If you go to a large Auto-X, you will find a lot of guys using Koni Yellows on their cars. If you really want coilovers, then go for TEIN FLEX coilovers, since they are double adjustable...

But I think I'm gonna go with a Zeal B6 or a JIC FlTA2 in the end...

Correction, if you really want coilovers, you'll go with something like a Zeal Super Function or a JIC FLTA2-RS coilover setup...

They probably are very good, but very expensive IMO. In my case, the best thing under $1k is the Koni Yellow+good spring setup...

But that's very true... Koni Yellows and a nice spring setup are VERY good for that price... but you Auto-Xers use very skurry spring rates in your rears :nervous:
But you can get a some of the cheaper setups for around 1400 shipped if you shop around...
Oh, and the Tein FLEX system sucks IMO... check out the rear spring rate that comes with them... worthless...

This also helps in the weight load transfer while braking at high speeds on road courses since tegs/civs are front heavy.
We, the US, tend to like stiffer rear rates because it promotes oversteer which would counteract understeer. This is very useful for low speed corners such as those found on auto x courses.
