I've been strictly a CCM guy, but I tried these on and was seriously impressed. I put on a pair of CCM Pro Tacks, supposedly the best skate they've ever made, and was not impressed at all. Anyone else play hockey and have a pair, or heard reviews on these Bauers?

vapors are supposed to be real nice, but tacks fit my foot so much better, the bauers are a bit wide for me :dunno:

i think skates are always personal preference. you just have to experiment and figure out what works for you.

you said it, brother. :thumbup: I'll see how they work and if I dont like em, I can always sell em again and go back to some CCMs. The way I see it, if I win that auction, I'm getting them 150 bucks cheaper than everywhere else.

I like em', I have the older version. STill doens't beat the old Micron 10-90 AIRs. Those were the best skates ever.
