oh yea here's a tip: don't leave an open hockey bag in your trunk overnight.

now playing ice and roller down here in san diego. playing ice is so much more expensive

varies from $13-15 for pickup (appx an hour, sometimes goes past)

ice quality is horrible. sometimes wet spots here and there.

 

Damn, $15US each is like $20 cdn.

It's $3-5 cdn here for shiney (pick up games).

can't beat playing pond hockey for free though. that was basically my childhood hockey.

 

A lot of the pro's wear vapors...but...they get paid to

 

supposedly 33% of the NHL is wearing them, but not only because they're paid to, but because they dont want to go back to what they had before.


and yes we play hockey in the states, GO RED WINGS BABY!!

We're trying to get together a team here in Tampa area for a mens league. Basically for 12 games, it's $2850 bucks. If you get 12 people ... do the math. It'll be less than $250 a player. That's not a bad deal.
