Default Iverson is at it again

He lit up the Hawks for fiddy tonight, he shot 34 times making 20 of em which is about 60%

Did I mention he had the flu?

AI scores 50 in win

58.8% shooting is excellent, especially while sick.

...and someone has gotta take charge on that team, or else nothing would get done.

yea, but if you take too much charge, you end up hogging the ball and make more of a mess. your team doesn't get better in the long run and your wins come only when you're on.

call it what you want to, considering that he faces double teams night in, night out, and the fact that he's 6ft tall 165lbs soaking wet w/a pocket full of quarters, for him to get off and score 50 pts shows the talent and skill he has.

that's how many times he shot the ball, not how many times he got the ball:chuckles: The fact that he gets doubled everytime he gets the ball, is the focus of teams defensive strategies, and is only 6ft makes these accomplishments that much sweeter.

that's why I worded it like that, I wanted all the Iverson haters to take a look:thumbup:

that's the story of AI's professional career, as he goes, so goes his team. He has scrubs around him, would you wanna pass to a Greg Buckner?? Iverson is the Sixers

yeah, that was in the playoffs, the drama level was high. That's my lasting memory of MJ. Iverson wasn't that sick, but still sick w/the flu and dropped bombs on em
