motorcycle riders...holla y0
i think i'm gonna attend one of the motorcycle riding training schools, but am conflicted on which one to pick.
anybody here ever attended one of the following? if so, please let me know what you thought of the school.
thanks in advance!!!
Keith Code's
Freddie Spencer's
the freddie spencer one is more than the 2-day @ keith code, but honda rider's club members (i am one) get a 10% discount, so that makes it about the same.
the keith code one i would either take @ barber motorsports (near me in AL) or laguna seca (kewl).
let me know you're opinions!!!!

heh.... I might be doing the same thing once my car becomes a weekend only car. Plus motorcycle insurance is hell of a lot cheaper then a 2nd car at my age.
btw... what motorcyle were you thinking of getting?

I hate Keith Code.
He's an arrogant prick who doesn't answer questions to every-day people unless you're paying for his course, even if it's just normal conversation.
Go Freddie Spencer.
Of course, I say this assuming you have riding experience. If you don't, go take an MSF course (http://www.msf-usa.org/) to get the basics down first, get comfortable with the controls and geometry of a motorcycle. Then go take a Spencer or other more advanced school like Spencer.

Sorry antarius I just thought you were speaking from the squid side of the pond

I too say Spencer though because I have heard a lot of good about him here and there and haven't honestly heard anything about Codes school.
Of course I haven't done much riding in a while

Hehe. It's cool man. You don't know me but I'm the anti-squid if anything.
I do 400-600 mile days, I wear full leathers even on short rides, I ride a smooth quick pace - I dont slam on the brakes and park it in corners, and then accelerate to 130mph on the straight aways, I can't wheelie to save my life, I'll ride in rain, snow, or sun. Don't care. Though, I've never ridden in snow.. doesnt snow here.
Almost 60k miles and no major accidents. Doing OK over here =]

 I hate riding in rain cuz I dropped out a couple times and I have been left with that little tinge of fear that keeps me from willingly riding in wet weather
