Is there a god?
More than likely. I would answer yes.
I also wouldn't fret excessively about what comes after this life. We most definitely have souls, imo. Without a soul, there'd be no passion, no enjoyment, nothing that makes us feel enriched and alive.
I'd say --- rather than worry about what comes after this life, apply that energy toward making this life ideal [in the long-term].

Essence of Zen Buddhism! Does not the universe that surround us exist due to the perception of our senses? Then we are but conciousnesses existing in the void, and each persons perception a universe on to it's own?
I'm agnostic

One who believes that it is impossible to know whether there is a God.
One who is skeptical about the existence of God but does not profess true atheism.
One who is doubtful or noncommittal about something

Yes there is a God. God created everything. Anyways everyone was perfect and God's children until Humans were attracted by Sin. Thus with Sin we had free will and such so God could not stop us from doing bad things to ourselves. Since he loved us so much he sent his only son Jesus down to Earth. Jesus took the blame for Sin and died, however he came back to life..etc. Then something along the lines of if we believe in God and have faith, we could have the chance to be saved from eternal damnation.
I'm a crappy preacher at the gospel stuff but others can explain it MUCH better.
Anyways I believe in it and I know there may be replies that will question what I said, but no matter what you say you can't break my faith so :fawk: .

:edit: and don't say 'because the bible said so' cause thats not proof, have you ever SEEN the original bible? I don't think so
Famous Man once said:
"I do not believe in the creed professed by the Jewish church, by the Roman church, by the Greek church, by the Turkish church, by the Protestant church, nor by any church that I know of. My own mind is my own church."

I've just recently converted to Christianity but I have taken the historical courses in University that focus on the facts and suprise, surprise....it does make sense. Class consisted of non-religious people, religious and those that just wanted the credit so it was just like any history course- very diverse.
I dunno, it's one of those things you take at your own pace. I had life changing experience(s) which is why I slowly believed. Before I was pretty hard on Darwinism..etc, but...

I used to be christian, until I did quite a bit of research into the religion.
One thing that struck me as odd, was how the "new" testement in the bible seemed to make "god" a more -people friendly- god.
Things don't make much sense, I suppose if I had some life altering experience, I would convert, but I highly doubt that would happen...
I used to work at Merlins Pizza in niceville, which subsequently is the most christian place i've ever seen( Niceville ), well, interesting, a preacher and I got into a debate one afternoon during his lunch and my break, he made sense of some of my misconceptions, but still failed to give me solid proof or even lead to be proof as to the exsistance of 'god', he did though bring me a book called, The purpose driven life I have yet to begin to read, it looks good. ever heard of it?
I haven't heard of it, but I have started reading one called Reasons for Faith. I also got that when I was non-religious and the author answers some good, hard questions.
You know what, it's kind of scary how many people used to be religious as children then slowly drifted once they formed their own opinion. It's like sunday church and the bunch scared off and jaded a lot of people. :happysad:
