Default concussion

for those that don't know, i had a motorcycle wreck 10 november. don't remember what happened, i just remember the back brake locking up & hitting a ditch @ ~60mph. i went over the bars.

seperated shoulder, 2 broken ribs, sprained wrist, bruised pelvis & hip, hairline fracture across the bridge of my nose (sunglasses got me) pulled calf muscle, whiplash & concussion.

i was unconcious @ the scene for about 3-5 minutes. i have lost all memory from about 30 minutes before the wreck till about hour & half after. i just have "segments" of memory - rear brake locking up, stumbling around in the field taking off my helmet & jacket, head strapped down to spine-board in the ambulance & then waking up in the emergency room.

anybody ever had a concussion? i am still having moments of real light-headedness. if i stand up too fast or move my head around real fast, i get REAL dizzy.

i've had 2 head CTs & they tell me i'm fine, but it still makes me kinda :nervous:

My bad I thought it was your first bike.

I have a friend in FL who bought a 900RR as his first ever bike :nervous:

Glad to hear you're ok. What's the word on the bike's condition? Heal up!

sorry to read about your wreck, but glad you're still alive

when i was a rookie, i had a bad habit of overbraking the rear. i always locked it up..guess it's something new riders have a habit of.
