Damn man sorry to hear about that My best friend wrecked his 01 Honda 929 2 days after he bought it, because the front brake locked up. Another friend of mine wrecked an 03 RC51 about a month ago from the rear brakes locking up........ something tells me Honda needs to rethink their sportbike brakes because there must be a problem with them.

i doubt there's a problem with them....braking is an overlooked skill when riding.

No man I am not talking about rider error, Both of them the brakes just locked up for no reason at all. Neither of them were even touching the brakes when it happened. Both are experienced riders (one of them drag races with me) so it was not a beginers mistake.

A lot of people actually do not or rarely use the rear brake.

I still do though...but I admit to needing to practice panic stops more often. h:

I fell backwards rollerblading once... no helmet.. head took all the force. :a: But.. it wasn't a severe concussion... mild. I must have a thick head. :happysad:

I don't know about you guys but when I learned, I was taught to use the rear brakes most of the time and to use the front in an emergency.
