Default Interesting number

http://www.mulsannescorner.com/data.htm

Look at the numbers for the 996 911 and then for the 360.

that one way to put it or you can say at 150mph one car is generated lift and the other one is generating down force.

which car do you want to be in at 150mph given that info

where the hell is Sean when I want to talk about ish like this

How is that possible, I thought they had all sorts of problems with the TT coming off the road at high speed. According to this data, the 911 has almost twice as much lift as the TT. By this logic the 911 should be airborne way before the TT.

I'll bet that number is before the rear spoiler was added and the 911 without the rear spoiler deployed.

also 911 has a much much more sophisitcated rear suspension than the TT. they've been trying for 30+ years to fix the inherent rear engine handling problem.

perhaps also because of the engine's being in the front on the tt and rear on the 911.. more rear weight to counter the lift..

possible but at speed the weight wont matter as much as the aerodynamics.
