I drive a whole different vehicle in the winter...not that we get any snow around here and they don't salt but because people in Oregon can't drive for shit in the winter.

You would think that a state that gets this much rain people would learn to drive in it eventually

 

one of my friends with a quattro(AWD) a4 put snow tires on his car, so my other friend with an awd WRX put them on his. AWD+snow tires=no fair!

 

 

even though the benz is a "4matic" it really is practically useless in the winter unless you have some killer tires.

 

I survived the worst snow storms we had with Kumho 712s which are horrible in snow but I still made it. I highly doubt this winter will be worse than last year. The media will hype the shit out of it so grocery stores and tire shops make a lot of money and shit won't happen.

If I was going to get different wheels I would go steely or VX rims.
