Default Car Alarms....

1. do you have one?
2. if so what kind? how much you pay?

im looking into getting one for my car.....i already have a super bright flashing red LED whent the car is turned off....but i think i would feel better if the asshole trying to steal my car, or steal some shitt outta it was seen doing it, as in every sees/hears when an alarm goes off....

what is a fairly cheap $200-400 alarm that i could get...

all im looking for is a flashing light/horn sound when locked, and the same when unlocked....

I DO NOT WANT power locks, keyless entry, push start...anything tooo fancy

just a normal type alarm....

thanks!

Where are good places to get an alarm? Other then ebay, since the alarm would need to be installed.

that alarm gives you everything he doesn't want... :exnbp:

200-300 for the basic alarm with install is WAYYY to much. i just did a guy's Alpine alarm last weekend with power door locks, starter kill, shock sensor, door pin, trunk pin, hood pin and motion detector for $180.

he supplied his own stuff which was about 80 bucks.. ohh, i also took out his fenders to hide the siren behind it, used all factory wiring to make the alarm blend in, tagged all the wires behind the fuse box, hid the brain behind the rear quarter panel and soldered everything..

you should be able to pick up a basic, basic alarm for about 200 bucks installed.

Clifford

About $320 but mine has everything under the sun even though I don't need half of it.

Rather have the ability and be able to upgrade the system then have to buy a new one
