prelude has a black widow, 150 or so @ auto lock. 59.99. teg just has an auto lock. cheap and easy!

yep, that's why i was referring to the factory wiring. i have a couple of extra engine harnesses laying around so i cut them up, solder them to the alarm wires, and run them down the side with the existing factory harnesses.

I won't say what I have... but any Viper, Python, etc, they are all the same. All made by the same company. You should be able to get one about $200-300 installed. You'd want to get something active with a motion sensor... there are really cheap alarms that don't go off until someone actually opens the door.

No I find alarms give you a false sense of security. If I do get something I will design it myself. Most alarms can be disarmed fairly easily with the simplest of tools.

If you want an alarm for safety build one yourself. There are enough sites out there and books in the library that will teach you the basics of a good security system. You can spend under $50 and make your own ignition lock that you can only unlock from a keypad.

yah, it's called unplugging the battery!!!

unless you have an auxilary battery, super huge capacitor, or wire the ignition/starter kill relay to be normally open, any super duper circuit anyone creates will will worthless once power is disconnected. :thumbup:
