yeah, so not a matrix in a matrix.


i thought, as a movie, it was awesome. edge of my seat througout the whole dock fighting scene and neo/smith duel. the fact that the hero dies is just absolutely awesome. so unconventional. everything had a purpose and you could see where it was leading, but not how. i really liked it.

 

whats your thought on a prequel(s)

 

well, animatrix is already somewhat of a prequel. but seeing how morpheus and trinity got to where they were would be cool. i think it would be hard to do a prequel that could do the first one any justice because the main story would be outside of the matrix. just thinking about what you could do it about (that wasn't covered in the animatrix) really isn't all that much. i don't think it would be worthwhile.

 

sounds like the other smiths dying is like the vampire theory? where you kill the head vampire and the others die as well? or something like that?

The machine didn't really get to smith. New and smith were opposites, and connected ina way, smith was alive because of neo, so when neo died, smith died too.

 

oh a note about the peace thing..

Its a program folks don't you get that part?

Neo is basically an antivirus program and Smith is the virus....in order to take out a virus you attack its core code, once the core code is gone the rest of the virus dies or dissapears.

You guys are reading way to hard into this its simpler than you think it is.

The Train is nothing more than an information pipeline and the Train master is the protocol the programs need in order to access any area of the Matrix.

 

I don't if I think Neon died though. Yes the machines dragged him off at the end, but was he really dead?

And what about Neo's power to see in the Machine World. He said everything was made of light, which leads me to believe that the machine world was also in the Matrix in a sense.

Did you guys watch the making of Revolutions? They showed the machines they used for the last fight scene. Pretty funny they called the one thing the "Yack" machine since everyone who used it hurled

 

Ok here's my take:

At the end, the little Indian girl asks, "Will we see Neo again?" and the Oracle says, "I believe so" or something along those lines.

Why?

Because WE ALL JUST GOT ****ED.

I think that that "end" is what happened with the last 5 versions of the Matrix. So what if humans and machines live in peace? The machines at any time could **** up all the humans and start over.
