Default Just great my dad got was involved in a car wreck

Background info...

My dad is 68... is in pretty terrible shape health wise after over 30 years of being a chain smoker. He lives with my brother and sister in law, who paid for the car and pay for the insurance and everything to do with him since he is no longer physically capable of supporting himself. I paid for part of the car since my father needed a car.

He rear ended someone today, called the insurance company and then called my brother. Never told me a word, never said a word to my sister in law since she is the only one at home because my brother went to Boston on company business. I called my sis in law to chat and she told me he got in a wreck.

Well his insurance is going up, my brother and sister in law's insurance is going up since its on their policy. They are going to have to pay for damages and any medical expenses. Bottom line... they are f*cked since its gonna be a fairly large financial hit.

My father refuses to listen to anyone and keeps driving despite everyone telling him that he is a liability on the road. I don't know if he is hurt since he won't answer the phone or talk to my sister in law.

That is all...

22 my brother is 28... I feel sorry for my brother putting up with my parents who live under the same roof even though they have been seperated for 10 years. My brother's been married for 3 years and hasn't had a single moment of peace since my parents hate my sister in law.

When I go home I am taking my father's license and burning it. I am going to take the car and sell it. If he bitches at me then I am going to tell him to get the f*ck out and go find a place to live. Really pisses me off when you do everything for someone and they can't appreciate what you are doing.

How the hell do I know... he hasn't said a word to me or my sister in law. All he told my brother was that he got in a wreck.

I wish it were true... I am actually very calm... I haven't jumped in my car driven the 200 miles in 2 hours and confronted my dad. I am concerned about my brother and sister in law, they have a hard enough time dealing with my parents and now this will somehow become their fault.
