Computer experts... PLEASE HELP!
I am down to about 5 gigs of space on my 70 gig hd. I'm running Windows XP. I decided to free up some space so I deleted about 15 gigs in files. I go to check my new free space and it still shows 5 gigs. I refresh it and it stil says 5 gigs. I run Disk Defragmenter and still 5 gigs.... WTF IS GOING ON???

clear out your recycle bin, run disk clean up to get rid of even more un seen files that windows hides from you. and voila you should be set.
then restart and bloop.

right click my computer. click properties. there's a tab there called system restore. check the box to turn it off.
Once it's off... of course clean the recycle bin. Don't worry about virtual space... windows will do with that what it needs to.
Then do a disk cleanup. Start, programs, accessories, system tools.
Reboot. defrag. reboot. done.
