my friend can light a match on a book with just one hand... (without taking the match off the book), when he showed me, i was like...

 

find a stick/branch, find a piece of bark. begin rubbing the stick between your palms (rotating it) to make one end rub into the bark. put light, loose, AND dry debris around this point and eventually the heat from the friction will ignite the debris.
