Your thoughts on your current car.

-Only 24k miles on the odo, so it should last a while. (I don't usually have to drive very far , obv)
-The big surge of power when full boost comes on still puts a big smile on my face.
-I love the hatchback versatility. I just picked up a new bike the other day and didn't have a bike rack on the car.
I was able to put the bike in the back without having to take the wheels off or anything. I just had to fold the rear seats down...and take the car seat out of the back too.

-As of last month, it's paid off...which makes me like it even more.

If I didn't need a "grown up" car, that would be high on the list.
Side Note: You still detail cars?
I feel similarly about my 2006, but it's 6-speed.

330i - yes still love it, but at 235k miles, anything can and will break.
G35 - just hit 100k this week, so now its out of warranty. fighting the urge to not trade it in for a MPG monster or truck or german v8
Subaru - needs new brakes and trans for me to really enjoy the car to its fullest, but by then the motor will blow up. stupid subarus.

LOL. Seriously though, I know what you mean. Going to some of the Mazda meets, I see that the attendees seems to be younger and younger every time. A Speed6 would be a fun car and may be considered a little more "grown up". I plan to keep my car for a while but I'm interested in seeing what Mazda does with the new 6 and if they'll create another Mazdaspeed6.
