Default Mozilla Firebird

Okay so I been trying this out lately. I know it's mostly similar to Netscape but it's kinda nice.

Thing is, I hate how all of Netscape, Mozilla, etc always make the reply box on vBulletin forums so freakin small. I don't get it.

Also the scroll function of the touchpad on my laptop only seems to like to work with internet explorer.

Minor things and Firebird does seem to be a bunch more stable at loading pages and such but why is it that they have several core messups that can be traced to the Gecko engine underneath? Does Gecko just suck or something?

I tried it out because I used to live and die by the old Netscape 4.x but I couldn't get into it. I guess I'm just too used to IE now.

I'm fine with IE, so I don't forsee myself trying any of those alternative ISP's anytime soon.

It was slower than IE for me. :eh: and the review I read about it said IE was faster, too.

I'll stick with IE and Pop-Up Stopper.

Sometimes IE is faster... but there are some tweaks you can do that makese it seem like Firebird is faster. It can be set to start rendering the page as soon as it gets something where with IE, it waits till it has the whole HTML file first... not a huge speed diffrence but a little. Of course sometimes Firebird could be slower... it is however just a work in progress right now. There is no "final" product.

It's what they call, a "technology preview". It's basically still Beta... and for a beta it's pretty damn good. There are little things here and there that need work... however... realize that it's almost to the usable point that IE is, and it's still beta... IE has been around for.... how many years now?

All I know is, everytime I try a different browser, they never display the pages as well as IE. I used to love Netscape 3.x...but the Nutscrape 6 scraped nuts.
I'll give Firebird another change when it's finished.

I think the latest build of firebird is version 0.6 so that should tell you something.

IE has been around for only a few years less than year less than Mozilla.
