as far as the memory stick its made by advance modules, this is what is on a sticker on the 512mb stick:

and you are sure both sticks are pc133? because u cant mix a pc100 stick with a pc133.

Maybe you need to update your BIOS. Lots of motherboards have problems with RAM, especially when they're first released.

if you've never done it i'm not sure I would recommend you doing it on your own.

there is a chance something can go wrong and you fry the bios chip. in which case you will need to get a new one from the MB maker. usually $20 bucks or so.
