Keep it simple with only one or two main ideas in the banner. White-space is not always bad. Stay away from sarif fonts when possible. :Endstockadadvice:

IF THIS BANNER IS FLASHING, YOU ARE A WINNER. stuff like that is just stupid. The net is flooded with crap like that.

It takes a lot for me to click on a banner... first I have to see it. I have software that trys to take away most ad's on webpages, does a pretty good job too.

2nd, not flashy. Are you trying to inform me about a product or intentially piss me off?

3rd, simple. I'm more inclined to click and look at NON-MOVING banner ads before moving, flashing, annoying ones.

4th, it's got to be a product I'm looking for duh.

5th, price. Don't show "starting at" cause I know that means you have one cheap ass part for a civic that's $100 but anything for my Prelude is going to be over $300. I perfer the "$100-300" method. Tell me what the limit is, I need to see how HIGH it goes... not how low it goes.

6th, diversity. When I actually see them, I see the same banner ad's on HAN day in and day out. Maybe a new one here and there. Have like 10 diffrent ones and change it, mix it up a bit. Say you are having a sale on Projector Headlights... have 10 diffrent banners that show you have those headlights for 10 diffrent cars. If a banner shows me that they have Civic this and Civic that.... whoopie, I don't care. I won't click on that. EVERYONE has civic stuff. Show me some stuff you have for an Accord, Integra, Prelude, NSX, RX-7, Supra.... I might not have all those cars but it shows me that YOU have a selection.

Ok... that is all.
