Default Windows XP pop-ups

I forgot how to stop those pop-ups from trashing my screen 24-7. I remember there was a way to stop it thru your computer's set-up but I forgot how. I was wondering if anyone remembered how to do this...

Press ctrl+alt+del go to processes you will see 2-3 diffrent users You , system, local service , or network service . look at everything that your log in has opened everything that looks like it does not belong end it !

download adaware

then get the google toolbar that blocks ie popups

go to control panel, administrative tools, sevices, scroll down to messenger double click and disable it.
