Get Spybot. Much better than adaware. Updates are more frequent. Full version is also free so you don't have to look for a crack and to buy it. You can go to Cnet or just type spybot in google and it will be your first link.

I perfer to use Adaware AND spybot. Adaware does have a perfectly fine and working free version.
