Nice car btw.
I try to stay away from gas stations in the ghetto because of a story my dad told about a gas station owner who used to actually add water to his gas. I don't know how true that is but it could be very scary in my soon to be 11:1 CR B16. A busy gas station is probably the safest bet.
Also, don't go to a gas station that is being refueled. All of the dirt and shit from the bottom of the tank gets unsettled and could potentially end up clogging up your fuel system.
As far as which octane to use, just go with what your owner's manual tells you, as long as your car isn't heavily modified. If you are running a turbo, nitrous, or high compression, use premium. 89 and 92 supposedly have detergents that clean your fuel, so it would be a good idea to run them once in a while.
I usually just go to Citgo here in North Carolina, because its the busiest and the cheapest. Usually.

I like the gas I get from 22 chili dogs and 3 triple thick shakes followed by a stack of onion rings.
Its killer

I'd say "other" just because of the fact that there's a gas station, somewhere, with the better gas.
haha
wned: right off the bat :chuckles:.

No offense, but surely you cannot possibly conclude that one major chain of gas in America is different, better or produces a noticable difference in either performance or mechanical longevity within an engine. 87 is 87 is 87...regardless of the "benifical addatives" certain gasoline retailors claim to use.

I get whatever gasoline is cheapest, but I find BP and Mobil to have the best gasoline, while Shell the worst.
The TSX I always put in 93 octane, while my other two cars I put in 87. One time I went to Shell and filled my TSX and got 17MPG/223 miles range in mixed driving!!!
Never again will I pay .10 extra for Shell gasoline.
