Is the cubic centimeter (cc) the same when it deals with liquids?

Thanks Chuck

So one cubic centimeter = 1 centiliter = 1 milliliter?

are you confused by the fact that meter measures distance while liter measures volume?

What confuses me is since I'm dealing with liquids and I'm trying to convert cc to ml. The websites so far defines cc as cubic centimeter.

But if you say cc (cubic centimeter works for solid and liquid volume and 1 cc = 1 ml then I get it.
