Default Diff between 04 and 03 SRT-4?

Why is labeled at 230HP? I went to the dodge dealer to check them out. They had sonic blue which looked awesome and I guess they took away the yellow for this year. It was marked up to 22 grand though! :wtf: I thought they were like 19.

I asked him why they changed the HP rating and he said he has no idea but he guesses it is the intake tube because it is bigger? haha.

We acted very serious and are going to go test drive it sunday. Pull the whole skit on him like we did to almost every dealer haha.

only on paper really. The 04's got bigger injectors stock (usually came with the Stage 1 uprgrade), so that could have attributed to the power increase. Someone has already dynoed their 04 and got about 230+ to the wheels stock..... so yah, its got some balls behind it Test drive one, its great. I did, and now i must have a blue 04

they didn't give the proper power ratings for insurance purposes. also don't forget that the 04's get the lsd.

the yellow is also just a limited production run. The new color for that year is blue. I've heard rumors of white and green being new colors coming up, but who knows. Also, dealers have been marking the car up lots of places, but you can get it for MSRP. Most dealers will also order it for you at MSRP.

wow.. from talking to the neighbor dodge dealer and had been workng for chrysler myself.. dodge was NOT allowing any dealer markup... those dealers would be fined if dodge knew..
