Default xmfm radio is it worth buying?

I did a search and found nothing on this section on xmfm radio. So I'm posting it and I want to know if it's worth buying? I'm thinking of putting it in my car. What do you guys think? If you guys have any info about the product or any reviews please post them. Thanks.

get it. I love it. I never listen to cd's anymore. I am contemplating getting rid of my in dash 6 disc changer for a kenwood HU so I can get rid of the FM modulator

i dont see how purchasing $300 worth of hardware and another $10 per month is justified for something that can be free

quality is good, options are better.. but XM radio is like cable, you buy all these channels and end up listening to only a few.

i wouldn't mind it just because i drive from north cali to south cali quite often, otherwise, i couldn't justify spending that much on what's suppose to be free anyways.

If you drive in areas with bad radio reception it works wonders. On my road trip, 10-12 channels that I listen to, always coming in, even in the dead of BFE, was worth it.

 As long as XM is in business, I will always be a subscriber. It's by far my favorite thing I've put in/on my car....including all the exterior mods.

I'm a big fan of house/progressive music, and you can't get that on any FM stations.....so I subscribe to XM. i've found a lot of vinyls that way, and it's completely worth the $10 a month.

That's all I needed to hear, I'll probably get it in two weeks and put in my crx si. I love house, trance and progressive as well. My friend has it in his car and it sounds pretty good. 10 bucks a month isn't that bad. I have a lot of other expenses to worry about so I might as well add this to it. hehe
