Stock 2004 SRT-4 dyno (pic)
Not bad numbers... but I have to ask why it says "APEX modified" on the bottom. It seems like there may be a few bolt-ons you aren't mentioning since not many cars (besides a few LS1's which are rediculously under-rated) put their rated HP to the wheels.
I'll take an SRT4 over ANY Honda EXCEPT the S2000 hands down. Has better styling than the clones of Honda Civics and can smoke them all...STOCK. Few bolt ons, turn the boost up, 300/320 at the wheels...easily.

At least get a Stratus R/T...it might last longer.
but what does a pure bred ricer know? :dunno:
Pure breds are the ones that always complain that we are relaible and can handle around corners and that we don't break down and we have great gas mileage...well shiet* I hope we get good gas with a 1.5 4 banger! Reliable...well damn 102hp out the box ain't gonna make you a speed racer. Cornering...well damn a car weighing 2200lbs with spring rates made for a semi better handle good. Reliability...well Japanese, enough said. A true car enthusiast likes all cars that make good power, look good, etc...NO it's American it's a Dodge, it'll break down! Whatever...all cars last forever if you maintain them. I've seen my # of imports break and so do domestics. My friend has a Monte Carlo with 380k on it original engine, tranny, rear, etc...daily driver and he also has an Integra for "Weekend Warrior" whatever that means. Both reliable. I like all cars who make power and can handle. Even if they are American.
The SRT-4 isn't built on the main assembly line. PVO wanted to make sure the reputation of their cars was good so SRT-4s are made on a separate line with much higher levels of quality control.
The '03 was rated at 215 hp and SCC dyno'd one at 223 hp to the wheels.
The '04 has higher flow rate injectors and the ECU has been retuned to take advantage of them, plus it also has a Quaife differential.
$21k for 240 whp and a Quaife diff is SICK. I want one, crank-down rear windows be damned.

The Neon SRT-4 is a sick ass car. Everyone who says "It's just a Neon" simply **** off. Your car is still slower than the Neon.
The engine is classically overbuilt in the same fashion that the 2JZ-GTE was. Overbuilding makes one reliable ass engine. That Neon won't break down on you anytime soon.

Great, now they can put it in a better looking car and I'll be all set.
