how mods effect an engine
My LS ran 15.6 @ 88mph w/ I/H/E full interior and 1/4 tank of gas on a 2.38 60' time, which is a horrible 60'. The GSR driver needs to drop the psi in his front tire's to about 18psi and feather the clutch out from 5k RPM. He should run a 2.2 or under 60' and a mid to low 14 sec 1/4 w/ a stripped interior.
the difference in driver's can blow your mind. I saw a kid w/ a brand new GSR come to the track hit a 15.4 on his 2nd run, and let his friend drive the 3rd run and hit a 15.1....There are some freak GSR's that run 15 flat's stock and some that run 15.7, just like there are LS's that run 15.5 stock and other's that run 16.5. But if the driver doesn't know the car and how to drive it, it'll never see those time's.
Then again shitty headwork will ruin a honda head and it's airflow characteristics
