has he run slicks everytime he has been to the track? if so, tell him to run street tires once. slicks rob tons of power at speed.

and i am talking from experience. my friends 93 cobra ran a 14.1 on slicks, 13.4 on street tires.

nice kill.. 14.9 is coolio!! start matching up with 94+ preludes, those will be good runs..

~~edit~~

also, think of modding cars like money... it takes money to make money..

a car with more horsepower from the factory will probably see a higher gain in hp when you modify it. i wouldn't compare the actual cyclinder number. instead, compare it with the amount of hp produced, which v6's typically come with more hp than a 4 cylinder.

larger engines almost always respond better to the same mod as a lowe displacement engine

intake in civic 1-2 hp
intake in supra 10 hp

just examples dont hate me

If he ran a 15.3 in that, he's not a good driver like you think he is. That is a time for a stock GSR to run, on street tires. In fact, I've seen faster on street tires, bone stock.

With i/h/e/headwork/slicks/gutted he should easily be into the 13's.
