i want to start something indoors this winter.

when i go to the store, i have the option of either buying small amounts at crazy high prices or tons at a low price.

thinking of making something like this



but, two levels, to space them out more.

 

I would if I had the space for something like that. I cant really keep plants, they seem to die

But ya, I hate spending $3 for a pinch of whatever the heck.

 

We have a window box at my apartment. The wife loves having plants and we've discussed doing this in the past. Might actually do it this spring.

and I can't plant for anything. so I have no flowers in my front yard

 

I used to grow peppers on my front porch and use them in fajitas.

Eating something you grew yourself.

it's weird, the herbs that come in the little plastic case are like $3 for nothing, but i can get a giant bunch of cilantro for $1.99. but i never use the whole thing and end up throwing 3/4 of it out.
