Now I have to get a custom rear section stock muffler made so I can swap it on for inspection...why do they bother, I'm only gonna put the exhaust back on afterward. Delaying the inevitable is ghey

 

Stick some maxi pads in your muffler. Get the scented ones and try again:thumbup:

taht sucks! i gotta get my car inpsected soon too cuz not only do i have out of state plates...they are now expired and i know for a fact im not gonna pass....hey does anyone have any ways of helping our cars pass??? my header has a carb # and so does my exhaust...my intake, ill put the stock on, cylinder 1 is shot...and my cams im not sure about...sounds like youll have an easier time than me! why do they even care though??? i see cars smoking like chimneys with 2005 stickers and im like :wtf: you passed that car?!?! good luck:thumbup:

 

inspection for smog or for DMV??? so now you have to get passed at DMV first??

 

Milwaukee has gotten stricter in the past 4 years. I would assume they all are .

Its an East Coast thing.

they have to get a full vehicle inspection and a pass tag then go through DEQ then get registration.

Lot of work but it keeps the cracked windshield driving, bumper falling off idiots off the road.
