i feel sorry for the guy, class act, but he needs to be a smarter football player. He won't last long in this league running the way he does. Russell Wilson on the other hand is pretty smart, like boss.

Late to the party, but....

...so happy to be a Broncos fan these days. Haven't been this excited since Elway.

Everytime I see the guy that's all I can think of. "Great player, but.... shouldn't he be in jail?" This morning one of the local radio guys was like "Ray Lewis doesn't scare me. He's old, slow, can't tackle, and a shell of his former self. Yeah, I said it. What's he gonna do? Murder me? Oh wait..." Was hilarious.

NFC West is loaded with young talent. Trying to win there is brutal.
3 years ago the NFC West was the laughing stock of the league. Last year the AFC west was the laughing stock (and aside from the Broncos still are). It doesn't take long to turn around a team in this league, so I'd say trying to forecast a division 3 years down the line is a little... impossible.

As a Broncos fan, I love beating the Raiders and I experience no small amount of schadenfreude at how your team has been mismanaged over the last few years. But at this point, it's almost so pathetic that I feel sorry for you guys. I almost want you to get some competent management/GM/coaching just so that we can have a proper divisional rival again. Almost.

Chiefs have a lot of talent, but they won't go anywhere without a QB. They'll be like the Vikes this year -- win 8-11 games, but lose in the first round of the playoffs. I honestly believe Smith was just a product of the 49ers system, and won't really be an upgrade over Matt Cassel. Remember when Matt Cassel won 11 games with the Pats? That's what I feel Smith is like. What a terrible year to get the 1st overall pick. Last year there were two legitimate number 1s in RGIII and Luck, but this year there's probably no QB worth picking higher than in the 20s. Rough draw for the Chiefs.

I don't understand all the hate Shanny is getting for keeping RGIII in. This was the playoffs! Win or go home! Do you honestly think that Cousins gave a better shot at winning than even an injured RGIII did? Cousins was even more ineffective than RGIII was once he did get in. RGIII has the entire off-season to rehab, might as well run him into the ground in the last game of the year. He already tore his ACL the season prior to his Heisman year at Baylor, so you know he has what it takes to recover from a knee injury.

After going 29-67 over the past 6 years, 8-11 wins next year would be amazing.

Maybe because Cousins went 26-of-37 for 329 yards with 2 touchdowns just a few weeks ago, and it was obvious RGIII wasn't right. Sure, that was against the Browns, but still.

The guy has guts ... but holy shit.
They are saying potentially torn ACL and LCL. He is off to see James Andrews tomorrow. So much for the Skins 2013 season :wtc:

It was brutal seeing him out there. My gut was turning at every play. Seeing the guy try to maneuver, it was very very difficult to watch.

The initial injury to the knee was horrific. I was calling :bs: when he said he was fine. Clearly, there was structural damage. Your leg doesn't bend like that.

Fast forward to Sunday ... and it looked like the leg was hanging by a string after 5 minutes. Fucking. Awful.
