In Deep Crap! HELP
So I picked up my car today after a week of getting my rear quarter panel fixed. The color came out like crap and it's horribly yellow compared to my original white. I talked to the painter and manager, and they said it's because my paint is old and oxidized. I told them their paint should be pure white like my old color and it's not going to turn white after I let it cure and buff it.
The manager said "That's it. There's nothing else I can do..take it or leave it."
I told them, "Your work is not done. I cannot pay for incomplete work."
While my dad was looking over car and I was calling some people, the manager came out, gave me keys and said "No charge." My dad asked me if he heard it right. After 15 minutes, a lady from the shop called and said I did not settle my bill and that she's going to have an arrest warrant out for me for theft of service and I told them I would have my lawyer call them. Anyone ever been in such awkward situation?

I asked them to paint it again and they are absolutely not going to do it. No way I will pay for a paint job that is completely off. Why would the co-maanger tell me no charge and the other call me? I will pay them for all the work..if they did it right. I hope they are not serious about the arrest warrant. Should I stop by the shop Monday or call them, or just wait? Im screwed

no, insurance is not involved. My car was vandalized and I have to pay out of my own pocket. Am I required to pay them if work is not done right/incomplete? The body shop will not deal with me and just walked off.
