to firebird. it's way way faster than ie, has tabs, built in google search (which i was afraid of losing because i use it ALL the time). it's .

yup,.....how do you compare it to opera....i love firebird, you can set it so it d/l's files with certain extensions to a particular folder



have you tried thunderbird for mail?

exchange servers like pop?? dat what i use....iono what exchange servers are h:

exchange servers are for intranets. a mail server on a windows server.

I still use IE as default. Firebird is a close 2nd. I think that within a year of bug fixes and new features I could easily switch to FB instead of IE for my default.

I hate netscape so don't even bother talking to me about Mozilla. FB on the other hand.... is less like Netscape and more like IE. For someone that is a diehard IE/OE fan... this is important.

Cookie control is a big thing with me... I need something that meshes IE's cookie control with Mozilla's cookie control.


I'm in firebird right now.... and this damn cursor is too big... it like takes up half of the last letter of everything I type... it's kinda hard to see if I've made a mistake or not.

i know what you mean. i've never strayed from ie before. it's just so comfortable i guess. i've used opera and mozilla before, but firebird is way better than those. there are still some things i like more about ie though.
