Default Carbon fiber sideskirts

Well, not really real carbon fiber... but close!! I got some vinyl from www.stickercastle.com and covered my stock skirts with it. Its just the trick I was looking for. Since the skirts are black anyway it doesn't look much different from stock from a distance. Up close is when you can tell. Its a good effect that will win points at shows I think. It is also so much easier to take care of than the skirts. I just wipe it down and they are done. No protectant needed. I love that. What do you think?

Personally would rather say they're real CF, but I really have to acknowledge your originality. Very, very clean and creative job. It IS a much smarter idea than real CF, plus it looks very comparable to CF.....like you said...points!

I haven't had one problem with it. No bubbles or peeling or anything. it has stayed stuck. I ran a strip of duct tape along the seam under the skirts so there wasn't a chance of it peeling up. I don't think there was a need for it though. It has been fine. I would have liked to have real carbon fiber too but couldn't afford it. I'll go real cf on my hood instead of stickers. Just think about the HP I added to my car by doing this.

Still no problems at all. I was concerned about the winter and what that might do to them, but they are still perfect. No tears or chips or anything. I looked under the skirts last weekend to see if they were peeling up anywhere and they weren't. I just thought I'd keep ya updated.

You know what a pain it is to dry out the sideskirts after you wash it? Well... maybe you don't. Anyway, its always been a pain for me. Now I don't even have the annoying problem of drips or anything on the skirts. Its saved me a lot of time actually. This was sticky vinyl so it is different than the kind that you would wrap some interior parts with, but it still wasn't hard to use at all.
