Super-Secret Mods Completed (56K warning)
heh... somewhat secret, not that spectacular, but my first mods to the Civic...
Painted wiper arms back to black from ricer white (former owner... ugh...) & shaved "CX" decal off of the tailgate...

Primer Coat 1 after sanding.

Primer Coat 2 after sanding, ready for paint.

After some paint... notice the L & R? So I don't get confused when I put them on again...

Shaved the "CX" decal.

Same as above, just closer... showing how much sticky stuff I got off... at the expense of a blister on my right pointer finger...

Look ma, no wipers!

Far away shaved view... lost the liscence plate in the process...

Paint chips flying... wait... that's my front bumper... :?

Before...

& After. Out with the rice. Back to Black.

Twilight rear shot... I found the liscence plate!
I also got rid of the liscence plate frames... it just looks cleaner w/o them...

I'll do the bumper when I get to South Carolina... I see no point in painting the bumper just to look good for a month before I drive all the way across the country... I'll let the highway take care of more sandblasting so I have to pay less for prep work... lol
I'll be at school to become a Nuclear Electronics Technician... I swear there has to be some mistake, lol... I got a 94 on the ASVAB on accident & gave me two choices... either Nuke tech for the Navy, or Linguistics for the Air Force... basically it came down to I grew up Navy (dad's a retired Chief) so I chose the Navy... I leave for bootcamp in June, and I start A-school in September...
ah, yeah. you'll have fun with that...:eh: i was an em. this is a good time to go to boot camp. weather sucks up there....i think i went there in april too. yeah...cause i got to sc in july. good luck.
Go Navy! U.S.S. Barry DDG-52 1992-1996! I was an OS2. Good luck man. You gonna be on a sub or CVN? Man I wish I was back in the gulf for this one. But now I have kids so it's a little different. My pops is a retired USMC Sgt Major so I surely know what it's like growing up military. Nucs get good bonuses don't they? Good Luck man.
