Default Painting dash

I am planning on changing the color of my dash and door panels. Has anyone done this? Someone said to use a die? While another said just use car paint?
Any ideas?

I see some of the cars dashes at car shows painted. A lot of them just use spray paint which ends up looking like crap. But I did talk to one guy that did his with vinyl paint that you get from a boat marina. You brush on a couple layers and it looks like it came that way from the factory. So I'd go to a local marina and ask for some more details.

my friend spray painted my center console on my 4th gen lude entirely white. It looked sort of good for a while, smelled horrible for weeks, then it all started peeling off. Cost a lot of money. Man I'm an idiot

Main thing is to clean the pieces and make sure there is absolutely no ARMORALL or grease residue....else paint will botch up....lightly sand or scuff area, Paint..let dry and ClearCoat.

The Key is not to rush it!

Oh by the way....ah think TriniTuner.com have better import/show car coverage than Trinispeed.com
