When I was looking at cars a year or so ago, I test drove a TL and I thought it was a really nice ride... but all of the features and "tech" was too much for me. I felt like it was a James Bond car or something. Guess that tells you how often I drive really nice cars.

The TL just didn't feel like me.... but maybe having all of that nice stuff is something you get used to.

Anyone else ever have a similar feeling like that?

Sweet ride.
The DVD-audio sounds amazing on the TL. If you need the program to convert and burn mp3 files to dvd-audo let me know.

LOL yeah and the tape it's such a waste of real estate. I need to do something with it.

I need to figure out the voice control stuff. Apparently I can say things like ...

"how long until destination"
"air conditioner, speed 2"
"radio, preset 5"
etc

Congrats Drewski! I love that gen TL. My mom had an 04, and it was a sweet ride. I just wish they'd made an all wheel drive version .

I like nice stuff in cars but I also dislike overly gadgetized car interiors. I'd rather have direct access to features rather than having to dive through a bunch of menus.
