I have a 1993 Civic hatch, white. I need the bottom part below the gas tank cover and lower to be replaced(near the wheel well) cuz its dented in bad. What would be a price for welding a new piece in and primering it ?



Also, I wanted to know what is the going cost for a decent paint job ? Im from chicago. I was considering....dare I say it....Maaco, like one of their better ones. Or is a real paint job too expensive ?

Any opinions on the quality of Maaco paint job ?

 

I've never seen a maaco job in person but if you shop around you can find a full paint job matching the same color for around $1,000-$1,200. The price to have your fender fixed depends on size and the extent of the work. You're probably going to be paying $100+. The best thing to do is get atleast 3 quotes and go from there.

 

i would hightly suggest not going with maaco.

a quality paint will probably be around at least 2,000 unless you have some hook ups.

 

Replacing your quarter panel should cost a few hundred dollars. The cost of a paint job all depends on the quality of the job. Make sure they sand and prep it properly or you'll pay for it later.

 

dont get macco.... but choose ur paint shops wisely or you may wish u had gotten macco
