Default 00 EBP Civic si and past rides

Alright yall here is my current ride a 2000 Honda Civic Si which is mostly stock excpet for a AEM CAI, short throw shifter w/ urethane bushings, type-r shifter, gutted cat, alarm system, crappy tint(which i wanna replace), 16" Rota Circuit 8's..here are some pics...i'll also show you some of my old rides ive had...

my ride before that was a 2000 Acura Integra GSR which i only have pics of it when it was stock but i had put on a 4-1 header, test pipe, 2.25" exhaust piping w/ glass pack aka resonator and a black chrome tip)sounded swett like a srt-4 or boxer motor), short throw shifter and luminics pure blue headlight bulbs but spun a rod bearing after only having it about 2 months..so i sold it..

what ugly tail lights...

then before that was a 2002 Honda Civic Si that i put on a flowmaster 60 series muffler, shifter stabilizer bushings...can you tell i like a firm shift and positive response ....Injen RD CAI, blacked out housing head lights and smoked taillights, rear lower tie bar, greddy counter weighted shifter

i absolutely love the rally style shifter on the dash!!

Then before that was a 1994 Honda Accord that looking back i would have done things a little diff.(ok maybe alot diff.) and not have sold it after dropping $8k+ into it. Here iit is a 1994 honda accord ex. It came with a meager 2.2 vtec motor that made 145hp/147tq. I did the small things first Bomz cold air intake, Venom 400, front strut tower bar, lowered 2" and put on camber corection kit. Went through various tail light and head lights and ended up with JDM black head lights and carbon fiber tail lights. Put on a full exhuast w/ obx ceramic coated headers, hi floe cat and 2 1/2" pipe to a titatium muffler. A invader style air dam. I had a type-r carbon fiber wing from Japan that i put on. I had a great stereo system that had a pioneer deck with pioneer 2 4 1/2" and 6''x9'' w/ 2 polk MOMO subs and a stinger 1 farad cap and 1200 watt audiobahn amp. I eventually put a full airbag suspension with one compressor and five gallon tank and eventually added a second comp. The last thing i did was get a vented carbon fiber hood from Japan as well.
Completely stock...

About 1 1/2 years later and $8k+

My own custom stereo setup....

Slammed

And last but ceratainly not least is my 72 chevelle which i loved...but i drove it VERY HARD. It had 350 small block w/holley 650fm carb, open air element air filter, electric fan, edelbrock performer rpm intake, mild cam, headers w/ 2.5 piping and flowmaster mufflers and chrome tips, msd hi performance distributor and pulg wires, turbo 350 transmission 3 speed automatic.

and yes it is a 4 door sedan...

never ever put an air-ride set up on an honda or acura. not meant for those cars man. just looks stupid. the accord you had was ok looking but the air-ride shit just ruined it for me man, no offense or anything but i guess you like it. just dont go and put it on the civic, its a nice car just the way it is.

air ride suspension when you have all the electronics to properly dial the suspension in can be one of the most effecient suspensions..they use them on rally cars and some drag cars will use them in the rear.....

but no im not gonna put them on my EM1....like i said there are things i would have done differently now on my accord...

as far as the EM1 plans here is a list....i always make a list of what i want to do to my car....like a set of goals if you will...looks is gonna be much more subtle the focus is perf.....

Ambitious plans you have there. Most of those parts are way overkill for only 300 whp.

A lot of that crap you have planned is a waste of money. CF wire cover? Why? No wire cover weighs nothing. Oil cap, resevoir covers? Aftermarket control arms? Ceramic pads suck, well I mean if you drive seriously at all. Camber correction? Why not take the gain, the whole point of lowering it is to make it handle better, just take some out of the rear with washers.

yay but 300hp is only for the initial turbo setup....if i build the motor i'll have a low(12psi or so) and high(20+psi) boost setting and will shoot for around 500+whp if i build it which i know wont be a problem

your certainly intitled to your opinion but i like to cover every aspect of the car...looks, performance, audio..everything...and like i said this isnt set in stone things could and probably will change in the future :irock:
