Neons aren't street legal anywhere in the US that I know of. I know a couple people that have been ticketed for it.

I thought they were legal. Just depends on the color you're getting. I believe blue and red are no good because police and fire use them. Correct me if I'm wrong

I believe you are right PimpMyCivic. They are legal, but blue is illegal and red you can only have on when you are stopped. That is what I heard about red, but could be wrong. Blue is ILLEGAL, no doubt. Have you heard anything about strobes in tail and headlights? Worktrucks have them no problem, so I don't know if they are legal for standard cars.

I'm pretty sure in NY and CT the strobes are illegal in cars. I'd get them anyway. Just be careful who you flash

Well, at least you learned something. Schmoo is pretty cool, and you should have taken it lightly. There's a difference between a punch on the shoulder, and a PUNCH on the shoulder.

But if you wanna do electrical, maybe start with some fog lights. Something with stock harnesses so you can become more familiar with stock wiring. Get the stock wiring down, it'll be easier to go aftermarket.
