how do you know this?

it's illegal in many states to have flashing lights of any kind (except blinkers of course) without a permit... and red and blue blinking lights are only allowed on police fire and rescue vehicles last i checked.

 

uhhh guys, unless i totally misunderstand what he is wanting to do here, hes only wanting to do this to the 3rd brake light, not the regular brake lights. That is NOT illegal, cars come stock from the factory with a 3rd brake light that blinks when you hit the brake...

 

all of our firetrucks and ambulances at my F.D. have these strobes for all of their brake lights....

any yea cars do come stock with the blinking lights.
