Default identify this integra and parts

Hello all,
I'm am new to the forum and I have a good question. Recently I found an Integra on ebay. It was in good shape but had no ac or radio. it said it was a 1998 acura integra GSR. It said it had a b20 vtech custom engine. the ad says "IT ALSO HAS A B20 WITH A TYPE-R HEAD ALL TURBOED AND BUILT. THE CAR HAS NEW 18 INCH WHEELS , NO A/C."

Ok Now i am hoping some of you can help me identify what body kit is on it and what other parts are needed for the conversion.

Also and if you look at the engine picture is it truelly a b20vtech conversion. I know it has the turbo because of the intercooler and the turbo .

Also I am looking for any information regaurding the conversion and engine swap. Is it worth it engine swap wise?

I am interesed because I think I might want to do it to my 1997 acura integra and or who ever bought the car is willing to sell it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!

here is the engine pic

thanks for looking!

Hi. Welcome to HAN.

Re: Bodykit
That car has a significant amount of custom bodywork done.
It's not to my taste, but that's irrelevant.

The headlights were from an S15 Nissan Silvia.
The tailights were from an R33 Nissan Skyline.
The front bumper looks like a modified "R33" style bumper for 94-01 Integra and I bet the sideskirts are from the same "kit".
The front fenders are probably from an S15 conversion "kit" for the DC Integra, but they could also be OEM fenders that have been trimmed and flared.
The rear bumper has been molded in apparently; it could have come from anywhere.

The enormous - and obviously non-functional - ducts on the sides of the car are custom-fabricated, using aftermarket "NSX" style ducts as the starting point.

Re: B20-VTEC (aka CRV-VTEC) conversion.

As far as the B20 - VTEC (note the lack of an "H") conversion, the only way to confirm the existence of a B20_ block it is to read the casting on the engine block itself. The pictures provided do not show the block in sufficient detail.

Since this question is 4/5ths about appearance modifications, I've moved it to the Appearance/Cosmetic forum. Should you desire more information on the B20-VTEC conversion, please direct your inquiry to the Engine Tech and Tuning forum.

Lastly, welcome to the board.

Can't say I'm a fan of the look but the quality seems decent.

Thanks for all your help. and sorry for misspelling vtec.

This sounds a tad bit too expensive for me lol.

I bet 9000 on the car but i was outbidded and the winning bet was 10,000 but the reserve still was not met. So I have no clue if the guy ever sold the integra and it has not been relisted

thanks again for all the help

Silvia front ends make me cream, even if it isn't on a Nissan. My boy is doing a Silvia front swap on his 95 Talon.

How do you figure?

Just because it doesn't have a red valve cover doesn't mean it isn't a type r head. Since all B series vtec valve covers are interchangeable, you can't identify a head by its valve cover.
