Default Headlights NOT Crystal Clear????

As you can see from the pics one of the headlight is still hazey. What I used is 600 grit then 1500 grit. I then used 3M rubbing compound. Which did take out most of the initial haze but is not crystal clear. I even tried scratch X, Mothers metal polish, Novus step 2. Now should I even try to buy Mothers Plastix? I don't want to waste more money. The first headlight was original clear so I left it alone, but the other one needed more attention.
Nice and crystal clear

Haze vill

I'd get a body shop to use ther buffing machine, i had a similar problem with a badly sprayed wing (fender) i tried all the polishs like t-cut etc, in the end it just needed a buffer.
