chrome will be rust ???and heavier?but y so popular?

 

i think it is not so cool imo. Some people like it coz it really got others' attention while driving on the street. Isn't it something that we all modify our cars for beside perormance?

It's not popular, it's just flashy and ricey IMO. It will rust and discolor if you dont take care of it. Manufacture just spray a chrome coat on it, some will even crack and then rust from inside out.

 

Good question. I hate chrome rims.

 

if you lose the clear coat, any rim will corrode.


Chrome rims amplify scratches and dull spots. It's alot easier to spot surface scratches on chome than it is on silver.

I think chrome wheels are nice on some cars if they are the right size, and style. To many people are to quick to throw on a shiny set of wheels with out any regard to the astetics. As far as them rusting, if you go cheap there will rust most likly but that can be said for any wheel really
