Default Can he fix it.....

YES HE CAN!!
well i decided to take on a little project, well not that little lol. I had some del sol wheels that i had a while ago that came off a parts car, i gave them to a friend, he never did anything to them, and i decided id take them back and try to fix them. The pictures are of the first wheel i took on, all and all im very happy with how it came out. It is far from perfect, but it is way ahead of where it was. Here are the pics

These are all 4 wheels

This is the wheel i started with

This is a before/after pic of the sanding the curbage on the lip

no more curbage

wheel with all scratches sanded off

Good job getting the curbage off of those wheels. I thought you were gonna do the same thing that Robstunner did to his blades. h:

But it'd probably be best if you did all that work without the tires so you could get all the areas, especially the part under the valve stem.

well with this one its gonna need some added juice cuz its fucked up pretty good lol. Gonna have my bro pull the tires off for me then ill be able to have at the lip with a dremel. The other wheel i started off with some 80 grit to wipe out the major marks then smooted things out with some 100

ok well today i got a little creative. I decided to use some fiberglass resin jelly i had laying around has a filler for the major damage. I had no idea how it would work , but i did know that resin drys hard as fricking rock so if it worked, it would work well. So here are the pics, im still gonna get my bro to take these tires off and when he does ill do a few more finishing touches to this wheel before i paint it.

here you can see just how bad the damage is

here it is with the reson on it

Here it is now, few more little things and its ready for paint
