okay i dont know if this has happened to u but a while ago i had just got my Carbon Fiber hood in, the mugen style, and spent some damn good money on it to get it properly installed, for what u might ask? Well for some broad to go and sit on the beatiful thing and put a nice crack on it! so anywho my question:

yes there is

ive delt with fiberglass and carbonfiber materials before (surfboards) and carbonfiber hoods are simply the carbon fiber sheet(extremely light, black cloth)and a chosen mix of clear drying epoxy resin

1. find a good brand of clear drying epoxy resin (unbeknown to me)
2. clean off the damaged area, alcohol works best
3. apply the PROPER mixture of resin and catalyst("drying" chemical) to your cracked hood
4. sand the area smooth, and be very careful, also use a high grit paper, something very fine.
5. sand a polish ur fixed hood, also look into clearcoat materials to make it nice and shiny to match the rest of the hood, no one likes a blotches of sandpaper marks

thats only a starting idea of what youll have to do to fix it, i dont know the extent of the damage or how ur actuall final product will look, look for other advice on how to do it perfectly

It'd be good for you to post pics so we can get a feel for how bad the damage is to let you know how to (and if you can) fix it.

true story, i was at a desert party and we were all really drunk, so anyway there were these two girls who got really wild and crazy and started stripping and showing stuff. So i told them "hey lemme get a picture of you two topless on my car", they were down so before i could tell them not to get all the way on my hood one of them sat right on it and that was that. i still got my pic though! well actually my friend took it on his phone and sent it to me, was it worth it? F*#K NO!!!!!

that's not too bad of a crack. you might be able to sane it down (i.e. remove the rough/loose edges) and brush on some kind of clear fiberglass resin. it would not fix the crack, but you could @ least do that and blend out into the clear. hit it w/ some cheap clear, wet sand it w/ like 1500-2000 grit wet/dry paper, and buff it out w/ a buffer. it should look much better, and you'd only notice it if you were up close and (prolly) looknig for the crack
