Default Emblem Stickage

Right. So I have an emblem like this And I used the tape crap they gave. That lasted...2 months maybe..So I used some other double stick tape...after I stupidly used epoxy..The epoxy lasted for 2 months..
How the duece do I get it to stay on?! Its a pain to find it hanging on by just a little every few weeks.

Does it have two prongs on the back that fit into the factory holes?

You should try and find some with prongs so that you can superglue it on and it will stay. I superglued my stock A on because I bought the car after somebody jacked it. The only way they will get it off my car is in several pieces.

Maybe I'll have to hack up my old emblem and do that...Do you think supergluing the whole thing to my trunk would work? Or maybe using that Shoe-goo stuff?

Supergluing it may work but you better make sure you want to keep it on there forever since the paint will be shot underneath after the superglue.

I am really surprised no one has jacked it yet since it doesn't have much holding it on.

Well nobody has jacked it since its a neonish one and it has wires. And the paint under it is primer since before someone jacked the original and took off the paint below it. I think I'll get off all the tape, run to the junkyard and get those prongs, then use that shoe-goop on it. Hopefully it will work..I had been wanting to go back to the stock emblem but since the paint is non-existing I'm stuck with this.

There's a glue that 3M makes called Emblem & Plastic Adhesive. It can be bought at most automotive stores. I work at a place that sells car paint & supplies, so we carry it. It's your best bet at holding on that emblem.

Don't use Shoe Goo on it. That stuff is really thick and takes forever to fully dry. I would try looking for that 3M stuff.

I couldn't find that 3M stuff at Schucks and I didn't want to chug over to Napa (Outta my way and I hate that place) so I bought some plastic weld stuff. I just put it on, I'll let ya guys know how it holds. Oh, and it BURNS on your thumb...
