You should have "chugged" on out to Napa and got the 3M Plastic & Emblem Adhesive...it's worth it. It's what all the body shops use.

wow, my "stock" tape that came w/ mine has been there for 2 years through snow & scalding heat and still holding strong.

The tape that the Automotive Industry uses to hold on Emblems & stuff is probably 3M Double Sided Tape. That tape is the best stuff out there (if used properly) to get anything to hold. But it's a pain in the ass if you're trying to get that shit off of something, like say an emblem or a car. I've seen people take off stock paint from trying to get that Double Sided Tape off of a car. If you're using it and having problems getting it to stick, it's probably either a dirt problem, grease problem or a combination of the two.
